Vegetable soup with spinach and sprouts

Soups are a must in winters. Easy to make and very filling, they are the easiest way to get include veggies in our daily routines.

The recipe which I am going to share today is a very nutritious. It has goodness of spinach, sprouts, and tomatoes. This vegetable soup  tastes very good as well. This is my vegetable soup with spinach and sprouts.

Would suggest all the mommies to try making soups at home for your family.

Vegetable Soup Recipe with Spinach and Sprouts:

vegetable soup recipe with spinach

I started making soups as a routine when I conceived my first baby and since then it has been a regular affair. My hubby also likes to have soup instead of usual vegetable preparations.

I have seen many friends buying the ready made soup mixes and serving to their children as well on a regular basis. It is totally unhealthy as these soup mixes are full of preservatives and salt in high content. They definitely qualify as junk food.

I have added potato in this vegetable soup to make it creamy. One can also add sweet potato instead of potato for variation.

This vegetable soup with spinach and sprouts is a super-fast recipe and ideal for evenings. If you team it up with some vegetable paratha, dosa or bread this can serve as main course as well for small kids.

For babies this vegetable soup with spinach and sprouts can be started from 8th month. Make sure there are no lumps or fiber after blending.

If your baby is less than 1 year old, I would suggest ‘no salt’ in this soup.

    • Hello Varsha,
I would suggest to make the soup with the ingredients you have tried with your little one first.Butter and onions are mostly okay for babies.Once your baby paases the three day rule for an ingredient you can add it to the soup without any worries

I just hope your little one likes the soup. Thanks
