Kesari Halwa Recipe, How To Make Rava Kesari for Toddlers

  • Rava or Semolina – 1Cup
  • Sugar – ½ Cup
  • Ghee – ⅓ Cup
  • Water – 2 Cups
  • Saffron threads – 10-12 (soaked in a little milk for 10 minutes)
  • Pista – 4 to 6 (sliced)
  1. Heat the ghee in a kadai and add semolina / rava (on a medium high flame). Do stir it continuously making sure that the rava roasts evenly.
  2. Roast the rava until it changes color. This will take 5-6 minutesAdd 2 Cups of water and sugar along with the saffron (soaked in the milk)
  3. Please keep stirring to avoid lumpsAdd the pista and cook the halwa for approximately 5 more minutes
  4. Kesari halwa is ready
