When Amma was here , we gorged on everything delicious , fried and deep fried. After Amma went back, we returned to our no more junk-only clean eating mode. Not only it helps in maintaining your weight , but promotes overall health and well being. Starting various diaries in Bumps n Baby like nutrition , diet , skin , hair and food so that we can keep track of our grooming and personal care. Today’s post is on the current diet I have .
I eat every 2-2.30 hrs so that the metabolism stays high and I feel full. This helps me to avoid overeating.
DIET DIARIES – VOL. 1 MY CURRENT DIET
4.30 – 5.00 AM – 1 glass of warm water with honey and lemon
6.00 AM – 1 golden banana half an hour before my gym sessions
8.00 AM – 3 egg whites boiled / scrambled in 1 tsp.oil
09.30 – 10.00 AM – A bowl of cornflakes with skimmed milk , nuts and chopped fruits / Brown bread sandwich + 1 cup skimmed milk
Before going to office – 1 cup skimmed milk + 1 tbsp. chyawanprash
11.30 AM – 1 orange / coconut water / a bowl of sprouts salad / a plate of cut vegetable salad / broccoli stir fry in 1 tsp. oil
1.00 – 1.30 PM – 2 rotis + dal / roti+dal+steamed fish / roti+dal+any vegetable stir fry
3.00 PM – 1 cup green tea / handful of nuts / 1 apple / 1 pear
5.00 PM – brown bread sandwich / 1 cup skimmed milk
7.00-7.30 PM – pan grilled chicken 2 pieces +salads / grilled fish+soup+salads / dal+1 roti + veggies / vegetable soup+salads / 1 roti+ mixed sprouts curry
I try to omit carbs as far as possible at night post 8 PM .
I had been taking skimmed milk with chyawanprash at night before bed time until I attended a session on Yoga where in the teacher had suggested not to take milk/anything in white at night. Hence I have incorporated in the mornings now.
