Chicken Soup for Babies and Kids

chicken soup for babies and kids

Winters have started almost everywhere , though it seemed to have skipped Mumbai this time . Its hot during the day and cold at night / early morning. Winters remind me of hot and hearty soups . Just have a bowl of soup , sit back ,relax and watch TV :P. Today’s recipe is such a delight, a chicken soup for babies and kids

Chicken can be best introduced to your 8m+ baby with a chicken soup. It is light and  nutritious .I believe chicken soup with pepper is used as a remedy for cold too. You can add veggies according to your choice in this soup. Anshika is not fond of this soup , maybe because its so watery and light . So what I do? I add the stock in her dal khichdi and in her veggie soups .

For women , chicken soup (with bone) is supposed to increase bone density and strength. It is also an excellent immunity booster .

Thanks for the recipe. My baby is 9 months old and her weight is 6 kg 600 grams. M worried about her weight. Twice she was admitted in the hospital as she was suffering from diarrhoea and severe dehydration. From birth she is on powder milk. Will try the recipe and let you know.
